First, we take updated dental x-rays and impressions of your smile. At this time, either Dr. Christine Wang or Dr. Xiaoyu Ma will discuss treatment times, cost, and follow-up appointments. 

Next, we will send your information to the dental lab, where the clinical team will create Invisalign aligner trays that work well with your unique smile. 

Once we receive your aligners, we’ll discuss how quickly you should move through each set. Before you leave our dental office, you’ll know how to proceed with your Invisalign system so you can receive the best results. 

For general Invisalign care, you should: 

• Wear your trays at all times unless eating, cleaning your teeth, or drinking hot liquids
• Clean your aligners with cold water and a gentle cleanser
• Never leave your aligners in a hot car
• Come in for your routine dental exams so we can monitor your progress
• Wear your retainer after treatment to prevent your teeth from shifting
